Alaris: If you could live anywhere else, where would you live?
David Remley: Someplace in the Caribbean, possibly the Mayan Riviera. My wife and I would love to buy a condo and sit on the beach all day.
A: What is your favorite sports team?
DR: Kansas City Chiefs – I grew up in Central Missouri.
A: What is your favorite time of day?
DR: Sunrise, because it’s the promise of a new day. You can stop worrying about what happened yesterday and start over.
A: What is your most memorable vacation?
DR: In 2001, my wife and I took our two semi-adult children to Vancouver. It was such a neat city, and it was such a fun experience to travel with our almost adult children.
A: What are you most proud of accomplishing?
DR: Being married for 42 years.
A: Do you collect anything?
DR: I collect cast iron cookware – I have about 50 pieces. I cook in them inside and outside, especially when camping. I love to cook outside and my favorite thing to make in them is blueberry & blackberry cobbler.
A: What is your personal mantra?
DR: Don’t buy trouble. Don’t react too quickly. Let things unfold and develop before you respond.
